Effects of a High School-Based PeerDelivered Corrective Mathematics Program

This study examined the effects of a peer-delivered Corrective Mathematics program on math ability of low-performers in a secondary general education classroom. The Calculation and Applied Problems subtests of the Woodcock Johnson Achievement Test were used to assess math ability following intervention. Both learners and tutors showed statistically significant increases in scores on the Applied Problems subtest; the learners showed significant increases in scores on the Calculation subtest. Teaching Basic Math Skills to Preschoolers Using Connecting Math Concepts Level K

This study examined the effect of Connecting Math Concepts Level K on basic math skills of typically-developing preschoolers and preschoolers with developmental delays. Results indicate that children had improved performance from pretest to posttest; effect sizes on the Battelle Developmental Inventory (BDI) Cognitive Domain were generally educationally significant (d > 0.25) for both groups of students.
