Implications of utilizing a phonics-based reading curriculum with children who are deaf or hard of hearing

This study examined the effects of Reading Mastery I, supplemented with a Visual Phonics system, on word reading, pseudoword reading, and reading comprehension of kindergarten and first grade students with hearing impairments.
