Findings from the Follow Through planned variation study

Abstract:
A meta-analysis of schools that participated in Follow Through was conducted. Different educational models were assessed, and the effects of these models on achievement scores (using the Metropolitan Achievement Test (MAT) and Raven’s Progressive Matrices Test) were compared. Results indicate that Direct Instruction and Behavior Analysis were found to be the only two models with at least one sizable positive effect.
