As a member of the National Hall of Fame for the Association for Direct Instruction, Linda Youngmayr is no stranger to DI. She has studied with Siegfried Engelmann and worked on the early development of DI Reading, Language, Math and Corrective series. In addition to being a presenter/trainer for ADI National Conferences for over 35 years, Linda has also taught and/or trained almost all DI materials over the past 43 years. Her work with DI includes Program and Coaching training, implementation and training of the REACH program (Corrective Reading, Reasoning and Writing), as well as General/Special Ed teaching using DI programs in the curriculum.
Linda received a B.S. from the University of Oregon, along with an M.S. in School Administration from California State University, Stanislaus, a Resource Specialist Endorsement, and also has Standard Teaching, Special Education Teaching, and Administrative credentials. She serves as Implementation Manager for Cape York Schools.
