Effects of a 15-Week Language for Learning Implementation With Children in an Integrated Preschool

This study examined the effects of the Language for Learning curriculum on preschool students with and without developmental delays. Pretest and posttest scores were compared to those of two comparison preschools. Results indicate that the Language for Learning program increased language and social skills for students with and without developmental delays. Additionally, group differences in receptive language measures and social skills measures among typically-developing children were found to be both statistically and educationally significant.
